QV FOODS Attend the Royal Highland Show 2011, Edinburgh


QV Foods Limited are extremely pleased to announce that for the first time they will be attending the forth coming Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh. This is the first time QV Foods have had the opportunity to attend the show following their acquisition of the Taypack Potato business in the Summer of 2010.


Sales & Marketing Director Simon Martin commented "We are extremely excited about attending this show, it is a great opportunity for us to shout about our growing Scottish Business & also ideal time for our suppliers & customers alike to come & meet the QV Scotland team, representatives from our seed, procurement, commercial & operations teams will be available throughout the show, so we look forward too welcome friends, both old & new"


The QV Stand can itself be found in on avenue L, stand No 165 & will be showcasing the full range of produce that the group grows & packs, as well as sampling the fantastic Inspire by Gregg Wallace range of Potato Wedges throughout each of the four days. Other events & competitions are planned for both children & adults alike, more details to be provided at the show itself.

The Royal Highland Show is open the following hours. To be the first to experience the excitement as the Show wakes up to another day, we would recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance so you can go straight through.


Thursday - 07:00-20:00

Friday - 08:00-20:00

Saturday - 08:00-20:00

Sunday - 08:00-18:30

By Road


The showground is on the west side of Edinburgh and AA signposted on all major approaches. Drivers should not use SatNav on the approaches to the Royal Highland Show but follow the AA signs to the RHS Please be aware that due to the high volume of traffic, there may be some delays but be patient, there is a high number of police on duty whose aim is to keep the traffic flowing.


By Bus


From Edinburgh

We would recommend that you telephone Lothian Buses on 0131 555 6363 in advance to check route details of the dedicated service to the Show.

From Inverkeithing Train Station/ Ferrytoll


The frequent Stagecoach Jet747 bus service from Fife to Edinburgh Airport passes by the showground with scheduled journey time of just 25 minutes. Alight at the bus stop by Ingliston Road where there is a pedestrian entrance allowing the quickest access to the Show. Return can be from the same bus stop as it circles by the airport before returning to Ferrytoll Park and Ride and Inverkeithing Rail Station.

By Air

By Train


The nearest train station is Edinburgh Haymarket or Waverley Station. Please check with the bus companies on times and pick up points for direct services to the Showground
