QV Foods shine at the Royal Highland Show

Although the sun didn’t come out this year the QV Scotland team took the opportunity to shine at this year’s Royal Highland Show!!

QV Foods were enthused with the recent success of the Royal Highland Show, marking the first anniversary of QV’s acquisition of what was formerly the Taypack Potato business, this was “QV Scotland’s” first opportunity to attend this event & showcase its full range of Scottish potatoes & produce.

With a marquee that featured prominently in the main retail area of the show, amongst the UK Leading retailers, QV were delighted to be able to sample their “Inspire by Gregg Wallace” range of products throughout the four days of the show - receiving some excellent feedback from growers, customers & consumers alike.

Potato Pete also joined the QV Scotland team on the stand & he entertained children (& some adults) with QV’s very own “Potato Shy” where children had to knock Potato Pete’s friends from the pedestal to receive a prize.

Commenting on the success of the show, Simon Martin Sales & Marketing Director for QV Foods & Fresh Approach added “This has been our first venture up to the Royal Highland Show & we didn’t know quite what to expect but have been very pleasantly surprised with the success of the show, which has been a fantastic reward for all the effort put in by the QV Scotland team & has meant this has been a great way to mark the first anniversary of QV Scotland & our continued focus on Scottish produce”
