QV Foods / Fresh Approach - Raise the profile of the 2010 Capper & Co Trade Show - 12.10.10

The Capper & Co Trade Show was held at the Vale Resort, in the Vale of Glamorgan, near Cardiff. Held in the building used for training by the Welsh Rugby squad, members of which visited the stand in the afternoon and sampled some of our produce.

The event was heavily attended by Capper store owners, and was held as a great success in terms of communicating the recent changes to Cappers produce agenda. These include adding Display Until dates to labels to improve quality, more corporate 'Market Garden' branding and of course the fact that QV Foods / Fresh Approach has recently taken over the supply of roots, alliums and brassicas.

Comments from visitors to the stand suggested that quality has noticeably improved over the last 2 weeks.

John Penquet of Capper & Co. Ltd made comment how pleased he was with "The Capper & Co. Ltd tradeshow is one of the key events in the year for our Retailers and Store Managers. This year's show wowed everyone with the new Market Garden produce range, and the vegetable range supplied by QV played a key part in this. Retailers and Company staff commented on the technical knowledge of QV's Kelly Smith and the recent enhancement to quality and availability of the produce range supplied since QV became a category partner. I was extremely pleased to see the significant input that QV had at the event and the retailers' receptiveness to the quality of QV's produce."

Capper & Co. Ltd operates in the convenience Stores sector, their 500 plus stores trade under the Spar fascia.
