QV Foods Charity Fun Day, Holbeach Saturday 23rd July

The QV Foods Charity Fun Day was held on Saturday 23rd July at Holbeach Football Club, the day consisted of several inflatables, Adult Bouncy Castle, Childrens Bounce & Slide, a 60ft Assault course, Penalty Shoot Out, Bungee Run, Gladiator Duel and a Rodeo Bull.
We had various charity stalls which included a Tombola stall, Cake stall, Lives, etc
During the day we had three displays, Zumba, Dance and Kickboxing which were widely watched by the crowd also during the day we had disco music to liven the atmosphere.
We had a licensed bar, hog roast and ice cream van available to the public.
This is the 2nd year the event has been held, we raised three times the amount we did last year so the event is becoming a major success in the community. We are already planning next years QV Foods Charity Fun Day which will be held on Sunday 8th July 2012.
Our charities of the day were Epilepsy Connections who are based in Glasgow and do amazing activities for families who live with Epilepsy, the other half of the donations were given to Storm Kickboxing. We raised a total of £1250 on the day and QV Foods kindly donated another £800 so our charities got a total of £1025.00 each.
The day was well attended by the local community and was organised by myself and Shaun Brothwell. We are delighted that QV has given us the go ahead for next year already following on from the success we had this year!!
