Anya potatoes win a Grocer Own Label Excellence Award 2008.

The Grocer Own Label Excellence Awards recognise the most outstanding products in the own label category. Over 350 entries across 26 categories were judged on taste, appearance, packaging, content, value for money and clarity of labelling. The vigorous and robust judging process commenced with consumer panel judging. Products that made it through to the second round were then judged by a specially selected panel of experts. The esteemed panel included development and celebrity chefs, consumer magazine editors and industry experts with retail buying experience. Products were prepared in professional kitchens in London where the judges factored in the consumer judging scores and together with their own informed opinions selected the winners for each category.
